Our enrollment and registration process to volunteer international begins by applying online. Once you have filled out and submitted the online application form, you will be sent a confirmation email and will be required to first pay the $225 CAD registration fee and then you will be expected to pay the program fee closer to your program start date. The registration fee we charge is a minimal amount in comparison to many other; larger, more expensive volunteer abroad placement organizations. Our goal and purpose of this organization is to offer affordable international volunteer projects through volunteer abroad programs, so we make every attempt to keep costs to a minimum.
The registration fee (refundable if you decide to cancel your program) covers the administration and processing costs, ongoing support from VWB staff, program marketing costs, information package, overseas travel costs to establish and sustain long-term safe, secure and affordable programs, and other organization costs.
The program fee includes: airport pick-up (for most programs), orientation, program supervision, accommodation and meals during volunteer program period, in-country 24/7 volunteer support and in country administration costs.
Once you have paid the registration fee, we encourage you to review the information package which will help you organize everything you will need for your volunteer abroad trip. The information package also includes more detailed information for all available programs we offer. By joining our team, we are committed to you and will be readily available to correspond and answer any questions you might have from the time you apply until you reach the project abroad.
