THE SITUATION
Environment conservation is protecting, conserving and restoring ecosystems. Biodiversity should be extremely valued and understood in order to sustain abundance and variety of life on our planet Earth. Our environment provides us with precious resources, a huge source of medical discoveries, and economic opportunities. The world's forests are being destroyed to enable people to plant crops, graze livestock and produce income by sales of forest products. When forests are destroyed, they emit CO2 into the atmosphere causing the earth's temperature to increase which is leaving devastating effects on the environment. The loss of our forests represents 11% of global greenhouse gas emissions. Protecting the environment and conserving and restoring ecosystems aids in helping to reduce animal species and plant species from becoming extinct.
The volunteer abroad programs we offer will provide you with an opportunity to promote environment awareness and conservation to local children and adults in cities, towns, and villages. As a volunteer, you will get a chance to study and gain new insights into sustainable agriculture, environment protection and resource management. Volunteers may also assist in patrolling boundaries of forest reserves, collecting data on potential and actual threats to the trees and wildlife within reserves, liaising with local communities, other land owners, and government officials such as the ecological police. The programs we offer have been established and are dedicated to bring the right attitude and cause behavioural changes to help educate locals to ensure we can find ways to preserve, protect and promote community development activities to do what we can to save what's left of our existing environment in the world.
